Our Products

We produce high quality optical coatings for applications in the fields of high power lasers, optical measurement systems, telecommunication, aerospace and for scientific research. NANEO gives you high precision hard coated optics with an enormous durability and environmental robustness.

Our production is mainly customer orientated and we only keep a small stock. For a better overview we have devided our products into different NANEO product groups.

We mainly produce industrial quantities, but with our flexible processing management we are also able to produce small quantities during the product development phase.

Our Dispersion Controlled Coatings comprise three groups:
Group Velocity Dispersion Mirrors (GVD), High Dispersion Mirrors (HDM) and Beam Splitter Dispersion Controlled Mirrors (BSDC). Dispersion controlled coatings are mirrors to compensate positive Group Velocity Dispersion (GVD) of all materials. GVD's up to several thousand fs² are possible. We can achieve these high values within tight tolerances.
The Dispersion Controlled Mirrors are fabricated with NANEO's proprietary precision coating technology in IBS (Ion Beam Sputtering) coating machines. Therefore NANEO achieves unique layer thickness precision. IBS provides the most dense, low loss, stable and durable optical coatings among the optical coating technologies.

Precision High LIDT MPC Coatings

MPC / Broadband Femtosecond Multi-Pass Cell Laser Mirrors

Multipass cells (MPCs) are used as nonlinear tools to perform spectral broadening and temporal manipulation of laser pulses, while maintaining a good spatial quality and spatio-spectral homogeneity.
These MPCs mirrors are fabricated with NANEO's proprietary precision coating technology on IBS (Ion Beam Sputtering) coating machines. NANEO achieves unique layer thickness precision. NANEO provides extremely low absorption high precision Anti Reflection (AR) coatings with high Laser Induced Damage Threshold (LIDT). Absorption values of only few ppm's, high damage thresholds and transmissions higher than 99,95% are typically achieved results.
These ARs are fabricated with NANEO's proprietary precision coating technology in IBS (Ion Beam Sputtering) coating machines. Therefore NANEO achieves unique layer thickness precision. Beam Combiner Coatings

BCW / Beam Combiner Wave Length
BCP / Beam Combiner Polarization

Beam Combiner Coatings are mirrors for combining two laser beams either by polarization or by wavelength. Steep edges enable dense wavelength coupling. High reflection and transmission values enable a minimum of beam power losses. Power transmission and reflection of several kW are possible. These requirements can only be realized with highly accurate measurement technique during the coating process and with a lot of experience in the design creation.

High quality optical ITO Coatings by IBS

NANEO provides high optical quality high-transmission, low-resistance ITO coatings sputtered with the IBS technique either on a bare substrate or integrated in an optical coating. Substrates can be temperature-sensitive, as the sputtering process's working temperature is 100°C, and on demand it could even go down to 60°C. Typically achieved results (depending on ITO layer thickness) for a maximum transmission comprise a sheet resistance of 120 Ù/sq for an ITO layer thickness of 50 nm.

NANEO provides various types of laser beam splitters. The division ratio can be made polarization-insensitive e.g. Neutral Beam Splitters (BSN). The phase for both, s and p-polarization, is preserved by phase control in the Phase Polarization Controlled Beam Splitters (BSPP). The Dispersion Controlled Beam Splitters (BSDC) provides group velocity dispersion control.

Laser Polarizer Coatings

TFP / Thin Film Polarizer

TFPs offer the separation of s-polarized from p-polarized light with an excellent extinction ratio of 200:1 up to 5000:1. Typical angle of incidence is 55.6° for Fused Silica, but other specifications are possible. Contact us for customized specifications tailored to your needs.

An output coupler is a semi-transparent dielectric mirror, typically used as a laser resonator boundary as transmitting part for the circulating intracavity optical power. A high efficiency low loss antireflection coating on the back side is available . The Output coupler product range includes also Broad Band Output Couplers (OCBB) and Gain Flattening Output Couplers (OCGF).

Gradient Mirror Coatings

GRM / Radial Gradient Mirror
GA (Gaussien), SG (Super Gaussian), BE (Bessel), PR (Parable)

The Radial Gradient Reflection Mirror Coating is a mirror with a reflectance that varies as a function of the radius. This mirror enables an optimal adaption of the beam profile to the application. A small and precise focus as well as a specified intensity profile are easily achievable. The wide range of the shapes of reflectance provide an additional degree of freedom in optical system design. Typical beam shapes are Gaussian (GA), Super Gaussian (SG), Bessel (BE) and Parable (PR) but customized designs are also available.
